01

Basic requirements

Every applicant must meet all of these before an application can proceed.

✓Indian resident, applying for yourself with your own documents
✓At least 18 years old, within the age band stated in your offer
✓A regular, verifiable income — salaried or self-employed
✓An active mobile number linked to your Aadhaar
✓A savings or current account in your own name
✓A valid PAN
02

What we assess

Beyond the basics, the decision rests on verified income, your existing obligations, your credit bureau report and whether a single repayment fits your cash flow. Offers are sized to capacity, which is why the amount approved is sometimes lower than the amount requested.

A free pre-filter runs before any paid verification, so an application that cannot meet policy is declined at no cost and without a bureau enquiry — leaving your credit score untouched.
03

Common reasons for decline

We state the specific reason on the decline screen rather than leaving you guessing.

✓Declared income below the current floor for the product
✓PIN code outside the serviceable area
✓Existing obligations leave no room for another repayment
✓Identity or bank-account name could not be matched
✓An active application or loan already exists on the same PAN
04

If you are declined

A cool-off period applies before you can reapply, stated on the decline screen. If your income or employment changes before then, write to support rather than reapplying blindly.

05

Can I check my eligibility without applying?

Yes. The quick check on the eligibility page runs the same policy pre-filter locally in your browser: nothing is sent to us, no application is created, and there is no credit bureau enquiry.

06

Does a decline affect my credit score?

No, not at the policy stage. The free pre-filter runs before any paid verification or bureau enquiry, so an application declined there leaves your credit report untouched.
